The Venue and Location

The Song Festival is a two day music festival due to take place between 28 July - 29 July 2007 at The Honley Showground, between Farnley Tyas and Thurstonland, near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire.

Location was a critical factor and we feel we’ve found the perfect setting in the heart of the beautiful Pennine Hills…

Camping

The festival has 3 camping options available at only £5 per person for both nights.
‘general campsite’ - recommended for non families
‘family camping’ - a quiet campsite aimed at families
campervan camping

The campsite will open at 8am Saturday 28th July and closes at 12noon on Monday 30th July. Main arena opens 11am. Music starts at midday.

Storthes Hall - Huddersfield University

The festival can also offer accommodation at Storthes Hall on the Huddersfield University campus, approx 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes by shuttle bus onto site.

The rates are:
£20 + £5.00 for full cooked breakfast
Twin rooms £35.00 per night
Double rooms £30.00 per night
All rooms are en-suite
